Textual and descriptive content; perhaps not
quite the usual subject to be found on a portfolio that
doesn't belong to a professional writer, this section never
the less details and documents samples nearly a decade - and
certainly many uncountable hours - of just this. On a professional skill level, this section of the portfolio aims at highlighting my writing skills through the medium of such things as role-play logs and character and object descriptions for use - and that are being used at the time of writing - in the various text-based online games that I remain an administrator upon. In these forms of game where there are no pictures to reference, the descriptions of these kinds of game content must be detailed enough to give the user a clear mental image of what it is they have, and in doing so will hopefully promote originality and creativity throughout the game world itself. Please note that these descriptions are stored as text documents that need to be right-click "save file as..." downloaded for better viewing. |
